I've enjoyed photography since I took an elective class in high school and learned to develop my own film negatives and prints. As an art major in college, and in my career, I concentrated on graphic design, desktop publishing and painting. (click here to see my murals!). It wasn't until years later that I would pick up a camera and fall in love with photography all over again. While I enjoy many types of photography, it's faces that interest me most, which is why I focus on portraits. I'm drawn to the uniqueness of each face, the beauty that finds that face in a quick glance, a funny expression, a pensive look. Those are the moments I strive to capture. Moments when a person's inner beauty shines through.
